Mary Anne Allen, age 78, of Portland, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11am in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Don Dungan officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30pm Saturday afternoon in the Calvary Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Pryorsburg, Kentucky with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday morning at the funeral home from 9am until the hour of service.
Mrs. Allen was born April 14, 1935 in Michigan to the late Archie and Addie Mae Barnes Caudill. She worked as a nurse and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her first husband, William Wilson, second husband, Lyndon Lamar Allen, sons, Ricky Wilson and Lynie Allen and daughters, Kathy Allen and Adie Forshaw. She is survived by her son, Thomas Gregory Allen of Portland; daughter, Patti Allen of Portland; brother, Michael Caudill of Oklahoma; sisters, Barbara Smith and Martha Stewart, both of Michigan; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
