Jackie Truman Dunn, age 61, of Odessa, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. He was born in Odessa on December 19, 1952 to Joyce Truman Dunn and the late Melvina Lee (McDaniel) Dunn. He was an oilfield worker and a painter.

Jackie was never shy and thought he was the most handsome man in the world. He was a hunter and a fisherman, who also liked to hunt arrowheads. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, working hard and giving much. He would give the shirt off of his back to help someone else, and loved to make others laugh. Jackie adored his grandchildren and great-grandbabies. Taylor could always get a big smile from him anytime she told him she loved him. His son-in-law, Denny, was like a son to him and was his "Road Dog". Even on Jackie's worst days, Denny could get a good response from him. His family meant the world to Jackie, and they loved him wholeheartedly. He will be sorely missed.
