Mrs. Mildred Dillon Rutherford age 83 of Sparta passed Tuesday morning January 22, 2014 at Alive Hospice at St Thomas Hospital West.
Mrs. Rutherford was born August 6, 1930 in Jackson County to the late Willie & Ann Harris Dillon. She retired from Redd Kapp. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her step-father Harris Dillon; daughters Joyce Seibers and Janet Howell.
She is survived by her husband Bill Rutherford of Sparta

Daughter: Judy Lewis and husband Ronnie of Sparta

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, January 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00pm Thursday at Hunter Funeral Home. David Lee England will officiate.
Anthony Lewis, Nathan Lewis, James Spivey, Jason Spivey, Greg Seibers and Josh Rushing will serve as pallbearers
