Judy K. Lambert walked home with Jesus on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. She fought a long and brave fight with brain cancer.
Judy was born on July 25, 1976 in Ross County to Clarence "Ching" and Carol (Miller) Cottrill who survive.
Judy found pleasure in so many things in her short life. She loved the arts, especially theater and had a lifelong love of books and movies which she shared with her beloved children, Troy Michael (Sierra Gibson) Simmons, Jr. and Kahlynn Lambert.
She loved Jesus and accepted Him into her heart in October 2013. She was a graduate of CHS/PRJVS and Daymar College. She last worked as an STNA at Westmoreland Place. Judy was known to befriend many residents as well as their families there. She was also well known for her hugs which she offered so freely to anyone who need one.
In addition to her children and parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Judy (Stocklin) Miller, of Tulsa, OK (for whom she was named), her brother, David Cottrill, sisters Nicol (Todd) Kellough and Shannon (Randy Whitcomb) Cottrill all of Chillicothe. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, and her sweet dog Purdy. Judy was predeceased by former husband, Charles Lambert, her brother, Shawn and nephew, Elisha, her grandparents, Rancy "Abie" and Bernice (Arledge) Cottrill and John Miller.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014 in the Ware Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Miller officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Margaret Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ware's from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday.
