Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Dorothy Cumbee, age 86, of Twin City, GA, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at the Emanuel County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 28, 2014 at 3:00 PM in Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gordon Dukes and Rev. Franklin Sasser officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 PM till time of service.
Interment will be in Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Cumbee was a native of Twin City, Emanuel County, GA, owner/operator of Cumbee's Market of Twin City, GA, their family business from 1928 until the late 1980's. She was a member of the Twin City United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cumbee was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Clarence D. Cumbee, Jr. and parents, Remer and Minnie Williams Davis
