John Joseph Concannon,aged 71 died six o'clock p.m.Tuesday, July 18 Deceased was born in Ireland, County Kilkenny,
came here as a young man and settled in New York City. Later removed to Louisiana, Served in the civil war under Gen. Bragg and was taken prisoner. Deceased was the father of Mrs. William E. Walsh. Funeral notice later.

Funeral of Mr. Concannon.
The funeral of Mr. John Joseph Concannon will take place from the residence of his son-in-law. Mr. Wm. E. Walsh. Washington street tomorrow morning. A requiem mass will be sung i St Patrick's church at 9 o'clock, after which the burial will take place in St Patrick's cemetery.
