Mrs. Addie, wife of Mr. James Ashby and daughter of Mr. Thornton and Mrs. Elizabeth Luttrell, was born January 21, 1856 and died at her home near Buckeye March 21, 1893. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and was a true Christian and loving companion. She bore her sickness with great patience and spent most of her last hours talking about Jesus and His angels and prayed to be among them. She leaves a husband and two little babes and many relatives and friends to grieve for her, though our loss is her gain. Weep not for her, dear ones, though.

A precious one from you is gone,
A voice you loved is stilled;
There's a vacancy in your home,
That never can be filled.
