Kathleen Calhoun, 56, Cadiz, died at 1:55 this morning at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, after a long illness.
Services will be at 2pm Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Revs. John M. Ahart and Nickey Knight officiating, and burial in Little River Cemetery, Trigg County.
Visitation will begin at 4pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
A Trigg County native, she was born March 13, 1934, daughter of the late Prentice P. and Liva Bland Ahart. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Trigg County, and a restaurant waitress. A daughter, Donna Jean Calhoun, died in 1955.
Survivors include three sons, Johnny Ahart and Keith Calhoun, both of Cadiz, and Mike Calhoun, Litchfield; two daughters, Sharon Scholttlin, Dale, Ind., and Debbie Calhoun, Cadiz; a brother, James Ahart, Dover, Tenn.; a sister, Eva Hooks, Trigg County; a half sister, Eska Forguson, Trigg County; six grandchildren and four step grandchildren.
