Liva Bland Ahart, 83, Route 4, died at 9pm Wednesday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center after a short illness.
Services will be at 1pm Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Revs. Grandvill Courtney and Marvin O. Denison officiating and burial in Little River Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4pm Friday at the funeral home.
A native of Stewart County, Tenn., she was born July 26, 1903, the daughter of the late Warner and Turah Cook Bland. She was a member of Dyers Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of Lake Barkley State Park. Her husband, Prentice Thomas Ahart, died in 1985.
Survivors include a son, James Ahart, Dover, Tenn.; three daughters, Eva Hook, Kathleen Calhoun, and Eska Forguson, all of Trigg County; two sisters, Jewell Miller, Cadiz, and Mazzelle Powers, Hammond, Ind.; and 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
