Kathryn Barker, 92, of Costa, died Feb. 22, 2014, at CAMC Teays Valley Hospital.
She retired from Hutch and Sons Fas Chek, Costa, and was a former employee of Racine IGA.
She was preceded in death by husband, Sidney Barker, in 1976; parents, Robert and Mary Frances Perry Dangerfield; brothers, Charles, Dean and Doug; and sisters, Reba, Neb, June and Elma.
Surviving are son, Rodney E. (Joyce) Barker of Morganfield, Ky.; grandchildren, Terri L. (Chris) Selbe of Costa and Ronda (Mark) Thompson of Nashville, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Adam and Alex Selbe and Brody and Alana Thompson; brother, Kermit Dangerfield of Phoenix, Ariz.; and sisters, Helen Burgy of Hurricane, Beverly Pauley of Saltville, Va., Anna Chandler of Ashford and Lou Dangerfield of Phoenix, Ariz.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. Randall Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Cemetery, Ashford.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the funeral home.
