Cornelia "Mae" Anderson Kinghorn passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the age of 84, at McKay Dee Hospital surrounded by her family.

Mae was born to Jesse and Martha Anderson on October 13, 1929 in Ohio, Missouri, the second of eight children. She graduated from Osceola High School and continued her education at Weber State. She married Ferris Kay "Casey" Kinghorn. Her beloved husband passed away in 1988 after 38 years of marriage.

Mae was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 20 years and also volunteered for the McKay Dee Rehabilitation Association, and many other organizations. Mae was a great cook and friend to all. She opened her home and heart to everyone. She enjoyed camping, the outdoors and quilting, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Mae and Casey were very active in the Model A Antique Car Club. She was the co-owner and kept the books for their business, C. K. Body Shop. She also worked as a teacher for Weber School District. Mae was a model for The Bon Marche and other runway fashion shows.

Mae is survived by her children, Roger (Trisha), Randy (Susan), Rhonda (Robert Fowler) and Brenda (Scott Welch-deceased); grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Leah Kirkland, brothers: Bernie (Andrea), Steve (Sybil), and Meredith (Linda) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Gayetta, Richard and John.

Mae was loved by everyone who knew her and she loved them more. We love you and we will miss you, Mama.

Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
