Sherman Seymour, 65, farmer and owner of Seymour Fertilizer Co., died at his Springfield township residence at 7:45 a. m. Monday. He had been ill four months from complications.

Mr. Seymour was born in Ross county, July 3, 1880, the son of Samuel and Nancy Cunningham Seymour. He was married April 14, 1906 to Ethel Barnes, who died June 10, 1935.

Surviving are seven sons and three daughters: Nolan, Willard, Glenn, Conner, Louie, Roy, and Marvin, all of Route 6; Mrs. Florence Strausbaugh and Mrs. Garnett Fisher, of Route 6, and Mrs. Dorothy Henkle, Route 2, two sisters, Mrs. Charity Overly, city, and Mrs. Laura Wolford, Amanda; a brother, Marshall, of Columbus, and 18 grandchildren.

Service will be conducted at Mt. Carmel church at 3 p. m. Wednesday, the Rev. William H, Smith officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery under direction of Whitsel funeral home. Friends may call at the residence afternoon Tuesday.
