Mrs. Rosa Troxel, 50, wife of Reuben Troxel, a former resident of Clinton county and for the last six years a resident of New Richmond, died in the Home hospital at Lafayette at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, following an illness of about four weeks. Death was due to a complication of ailments.

A native of the county, Mrs. Troxel was born near Mulberry, on November 8, 1885, a daughter of C. H. and Alice (Weidner) Ehresman. She was married to Mr. Troxel in 1914. She was a member of the Rossville M. E. church.

In addition to the husband, she is survived by the parents, three sisters, Mrs. W. J. Sheffler, of Los Angeles; Mrs. Paul Calloway, of South Bend, and Mrs. Lee Baker, of Frankfort; two brothers, Charles, of Mishawaka, and Lory, of Mulberry.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday morning, at 10 o'clock, at the C. H. Ehresman residence, by Rev. F. E. Henninger, of the Rossville M. E. church, and burial will be at Fair Haven. M. E. Kleinsmith will be in charge.
