Frances Elizabeth Savage, 74, of Woodstock, Virginia, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock.

Mrs. Savage was born August 12, 1939, in Haymarket, Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert and Carrie (Teel) Carter.

She worked as a clerk for Ben Franklin for 25 years. She was a member of World Pentecostal Mission in Mt. Olive.

She is survived by her husband Owen Titus Savage, daughters Gail Frazier of Edinburg and Carol Powers of Oxford, GA, sons Ronald Lee Savage of Woodstock and Michael Savage of Mount Jackson, and her brother Wade Carter of Mount Jackson. She has seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Valley Funeral Service on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 6-8 PM.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 , at 2:00 PM at Valley Funeral Service in Bowman's Crossing with Pastor L.D Savage and Tyrone Gheen officiating.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren Christopher Frazier, Owen Frazier, Dewayne Powers, Jeremy Powers, David Savage and Chris Mooney. Burial will be in Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.
