Doris was employed for many years as a Financial Investment Secretary in Baltimore. After retiring and moving to Pennsylvania, she was an active volunteer at the Brethren Home Community and enjoyed traveling with their bus trips. She attended the Faith Community Congregation of the Brethren Home. Her hobbies included quilting and working in her garden.
She was the wife of J. Russell Eiker, who departed this life January 5, 1988, and surviving are three nephews, John Eiker of Mission Hills, CA, William Eiker of Dillsburg and Elmer Eiker of St. Thomas, PA.
