A private family graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Wisetown Baptist Church, south of Greenville, with the Rev. Tom Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Wisetown Cemetery. The Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home, Greenville, is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born Feb. 6, 1902 in Sullivan, the son of James L. and Josephine Bunker. (This should be England, not Bunker). He married Mildred E. Bernreuter in 1928; she died in 1999.
Suvivors include two sons; Jack England of Ashboro, N.C., and Robert England of Decaturt, and one daughter, Mattied Joe Fifer of Mattoon.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Bunker was an auto mechanic for Tasty Bread Company in St. Louis for 37 years, retiring in 1958. He was a member of the Coles County Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Wisetown Baptist Church.
