I wondered how this man, seemingly unrelated, came to be buried in the family cemetery of Charles Hoffman???

After lengthy and time consuming research I am able to add the following:

Answer***
It seems that two of his daughters were serving as maids in the home of Dr. Charles' son Hilmore. Well documented is the fact that Zekeil and his family were, overtime, living as indigents and cared for in a poorhouse. His wife was laid to rest in an unmarked grave in another cemetery. Along with her are three of their children who are similarly buried.
