Florence Moss, 90, of Ogden passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014. She was born on August 12, 1923 in Riverdale to Victor and Viola Fields Roman. Florence graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1941 and Stevens-Henagar College in 1943.

She began a federal career in 1947 with the payroll office at Defense Depot of Ogden. She later transferred to the Internal Revenue Service and retired with 31 years of service in 1983.

Florence married Wallace H. Moss on September 24, 1949, in Elko, Nevada. Their vows were solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple on September 24, 1959. Wallace passed away on May 28, 2013.

She and her husband spent several years traveling and lived in St. George and Yuma, AZ, before returning to spend time with their grandchildren.

Florence enjoyed golfing, ceramics, and spending time at her cabin in Manor Lands. She has been an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has held many positions through the years.

Florence is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Greg) Clarke; daughter-in-law, Sandy Moss; grandchildren, Ron (Nicole) Hennessy, Jared Hennessy, Chris Hennessy, Haylee (Steve) Fine, Shayn Moss, Brandi (Cortney) Ryan, Tosha (Travis) Martin, and Jermey (Kari) Clarke; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Martin Moss, a great-grandson, parents, two sisters, and two brothers.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
