"Mrs Laura Beard Fonner, widow of Port Fonner of Dunlo, died Monday evening, at 6:45 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh Foley, at Barnesboro. She was born at Elizabeth Furnace, Blair county, on July 27, 1866. Her husband died on Dec. 15, 1930. Surviving are these children: John of Dunlo, Mrs. Hugh Foley of Barnesboro, William of Lloydell, Mrs. Edward Worley of Hollidaysburg, Edward of Coalport, Frank of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. John Mitchell of San Francisco, Calif; 12 grandchildren and seven great grand-children and one sister, Mrs. Fannie Balley of Hollidaysburg. Mrs. Fonner was affiliated with the Methodist church. The body was brought to Hollidaysburg and friends will be received at the Wolf funeral home after 7:30 this evening."
