Mrs. Billie Asbury of Brookeland, Texas died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family Wednesday February 19, 2014.
She was born October 5, 1935 in Daisetta, Texas and was 78 years of age.
She was an accomplished Travel Agent while working from home and watching over her family. She is a member of the Lake Rayburn United Methodist Church.
There will be a memorial service Friday February 21, 2014 at 2pm in the Lake Rayburn United Methodist Church with Reverend David Hicks officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Asbury of Brookeland, her daughters, Sylvia Delcambre and husband Michael of Nepolianville, Loisiana and Tracy Hall of Houston, sisters, Mitzie LaPort of Ventura, California and Jody Boles and husband Bill of Evant, Texas, grandsons, Jason Perkins and wife Stephanie of Baltimore, Maryland, Aaron Delcambre of Pierre Part, Louisiana, Kareem Hall of Houston, granddaughters, Brittany Delcambre of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Natasha Hall of Houston and a number of great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother Clara Franco and her brother Buddy Alexander.
Cremation services are being handled by Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Crematory.
