Octegenarian ~ Died at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. E. Edris, east of this city, Mrs. Lucinda Imus, who had lived to the ripe age of 85, born in the state of Vermont in 1792. She was the mother of 14 children, all of whom she raised to manhood and womanhood. Mrs. Edris, being the youngest. In addition to the care of so large a family, she cared for 2 orphan grandchildren.

Her name is blessed, and she yet lives. From her early life she was identified with the Church of Christ, and realizes all that faith and hope foretold.
