1984. at his home.

Born May 2, 1917, at Otis, he married Helen
D. Cockrell Dec. 18, 1945. at Olmitz.

He was a retired painter for the O'Neill Co.
and had been a lifetime Olmitz resident.

He was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic
Church.

He was a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors: wife, of the home; sons: Allan
R. and David, both of Cherryvale, Edwin B.
Jr., Paul E., John and Ron, all of Hoisington,
Michael, Olmitz: daughters: Anna Wiley,
Bigelow, Ark.. Dorothy Goodman, Black Rock,
Ark., Susan Menzer, Hoisington; stepdaughter,
Yvonne West, Olmitz: sisters: Henrietta
Bartonek, Olmitz, Beatrice Lang, Norton; 21 grandchildren.

Parish rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday
at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the
church; Father Ulton Murphy. Burial will be
at the church cemetery with military graveside rites.
