Ann Fullilove Delcuze

Patricia Ann Fullilove Delcuze, 84, died in Knoxville, Tenn., on February 15, 2014. The youngest of the four children of James Greer Fullilove and Eleanor Wright Fullilove, she was born in Vaiden, Mississippi, on September 1, 1929. She was predeceased by her parents, by a sister, Mary Rae Graves, and by a brother, James Wright Fullilove.

She graduated from Vaiden High School, then from Mississippi College, where she earned a BS degree in music. Ann was a gifted and popular pianist who received her early musical training in Vaiden from Miss Lena Armstrong, a close family friend. During her extensive travels, she taught piano and played professionally throughout the United States, including regular service as a church musician.

Ms. Delcuze is survived by her son, Rev. Mark Delcuze of Stevensville, Maryland, by her daughter, Amy Potter of Knoxville, Tennessee, by four grandchildren, by a sister, Edith Fullilove Kitchens of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, and by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service has been held in Knoxville, and interment will be in the Vaiden Cemetery on March 21, 2014.
