"Makee K. Blaisdell grew up in Hawaii and graduated from Brigham Young University, but he quickly entered the world of television in California. He played small roles on many television series throughout the ’60s and ’70s, series like Daniel Boone, Iron Horse, and Star Trek. It is rumored that Blaisdell would have replaced Leonard Nimoy as Spock should Nimoy have left Star Trek after its second season. But he is most notably known for his role as Johnny Lingo. Blaisdell passed away in 1988 in Ventura, California, at age 56."

Actor. He will be best remembered for playing the role of 'Johnny Lingo' in the dramatic family short film of the same name, "Johnny Lingo" in 1969. He also played the recurring role of 'Sergeant Alika' in the action-adventure television, "Hawaiian Eye" from 1961 to 1962. Born in Hawaii, he was a star athlete, swimmer, and surfer. He attended Farrington High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, and later Brigham Young University in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he received he graduated from with a degree in Theatre Arts. After graduating from university, he appeared in several stage productions including "Beauty And The Beast" and "Summer And Smoke" at the Honolulu Community Theatre. He later went to Los Angeles, California, and began to appear on television and in films. Besides, "Johnny Lingo", his other film credits include, "The Last Of The Secret Agents?" (1966), and "The Cult" (1971). Besides, "Hawaiian Eyes", his many other television credits include, ""F Troop", "I Spy", "Paradise, Hawaiian Style", "Star Trek", "Iron Horse", "Hondo", "The Felony Squad", "Daniel Boone", "Ironside", "The Big Valley", "Mission: Impossible", "and "The Bold Ones: The Lawyers". On an interesting note, it was thought that he would have replaced actor Leonard Nimoy in the role of 'Spock' had Nimoy have left Star Trek after its second season. He passed away in Ventura, California, at the age of 56.
