Jo Lynne Aldredge, 88, of Marlin, passed away on February 14, 2014. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2014, at Adams Funeral Home, Marlin. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2014, in Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Jo Lynne was born in Corsicana, Texas, to the late Lindsay Cuthbert Morgan, Sr. and Ethelda Etta Morgan, the youngest of two children. She attended Corsicana High School and after graduation attended Texas Women's University.

In 1944, she married Edgar Clinton Aldredge of Many, Louisiana. They initially settled in Grass Valley, California. They then moved to Dallas, where her husband attended Baylor Dental School, finally settling in Marlin, Texas, in 1950. Jo Lynne was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marlin for 64 years.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katherine Carrie Aldredge, of Austin; and brother, Lindsay Cuthbert Morgan, of Houston.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Dr. E. C. Jack Aldredge, DDS; sons, John Clinton Aldredge, of Dallas, and Stephen Morgan Aldredge, of Marlin; granddaughters, Robin Aldredge Kraase, of Dallas, and Stacy Aldredge Curry, of Bremond; and great-granddaughters: Makayla Curry, Maggie Curry and Makenzie Curry, all of Bremond; other relatives and many friends.
