Walt was the oldest child in his family. He married Marie Dorr in 1927. They are buried together at St. Mary's Cemetery, White Bear Lake, Ramsey, Minnesota.
Cause of death was double pneumonia. It came on very fast.
He worked at (sic) Griffith's Motor Works in White Bear Lake. Perhaps his lungs were accumulating metal shavings compromising his breathing. His father and brother worked there also. The company produced RR car wheels etc. written by grand nephew Gregory Dorr
