Word was received here of the death of Virginia Allen, 83, of Kerrville, who
died Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at a hospital in Kerrville.
Allen was born in Milan, Kans. She had been a resident of Kerrville for 15 years, formerly residing in Brownsville for 38 years.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Kerrville Chapter No. 24, O.E.S.
Survivors include her husband, Carl F. Allen of Kerrville; a daughter Dorothy of Kerrville; half brother, of Springfield Mo.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two cousins.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville, with Dr. Bill Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories.
