Beth was born July 20, 1915 in Lehi, Utah to Hyrum and Mary Magdeline Anderson.
She was the youngest child in the family and struggled to get into this life. She was ill for a fifteen-year period in her 40's and 50's, but she was stubborn enough to outlive the rest of her family.
Beth met and married Dr. George Eason on June 16, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with three children and enjoyed a good life in the Salt Lake Valley.
Beth's great loves were her family, her church, and her music. She was a very accomplished musician on the organ, the piano, and the marimba. She spent her life playing for the church and the temple, as well as various programs, weddings, accompanying singers, and choirs until she was in her 90's.
Beth is preceded in death by her husband, George; her daughter, Michelle; her grandson, Craig; and her brother and sisters, Dale, Fay, and Phyllis. She is survived by her children, Adria (Jim) Skaggs and Richard (Phoebe) Eason; nieces; nephews; and many grandchildren down to the fifth generation.
We express much appreciation to caregivers at Sandy Health and Rehab and One Care Hospice for their kind and compassionate service.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, with a viewing from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
