Services for Emily A. Lyne, 83, of Bryan, are set for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Andrews Episcopal Church. The Rev. Nicolas Dyke will officiate. Burial will be in the Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.

Mrs. Lyne died Sunday at Sheridan of Bryan. She was born in Longview and lived in Bryan most of her life. She was a retired art teacher. Mrs. Lyne was a member of the Women's Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Towles Barret Lyne.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Barret Lyne Jr. of Bryan; a daughter, Elizabeth Lyne Scott of Bryan; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
