"CONSISTENT CHRISTIAN WOMAN" Isabella BLOXTON Allison, daughter of Zack & Arabella Oder BLOXTON of Fredericksburg, VA, and sister of Allen H. Bloxton (b. 1842 - d. 1910, at age 23, m. Christina Barbara SCHAFFER on May 4, 1865, in Washington, D.C., & probably had daughter, FLORENCE BLOXTON, photo on Allen's memorial), Rebecca A. "Becky" Bloxton (Mrs. William A. "Billy" Shelton) of Ashland, VA).

Isabella was the mother of four sons: Emmett Lee Allison, a Fredericksburg Shoe Cutter; William Oscar Allison, Cutter; John Waverly Allison, Jr., Spinner, both of Fredericksburg; and Howard E. Allison of Birmingham, Alabama.

'Billy' Shelton), daughters of Zechariah "Zac" BLOXTON & Arabella Oder BLOXTON of Fredericksburg, VA, who had one brother, Allen H. BLOXTON (sil: Christina Barbara Schaffer BLOXTON). Allen & Christina probably had daughter, Florence BLOXTON, pictured as a child among family photos.

FRONT: Isabella's son, John Waverly Allison, Jr. pictured here with wife, Lizzie & three daughters: Adele, Maude (middle row), Edna & sons: "Johnny B" & Willard Allison; Isabella's husband, John W. Allison, Sr., granddaughter, Edna & her husband.

MIDDLE: Dark-haired woman, far left in sailor middie blouse is UNKNOWN, John, Jr.'s wife, Elizabeth "Lizzie", & three daughters: Adele, Maude, & Edna. That is probably Isabella's sister, Becky Bloxton Shelton, next to her at the very top.
