Alvy "Dick" M. Adkins, 65, of Lorain and formerly of Bellevue, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 19, 1948 in Camden-on-Gauley, WV the son of Charles Adkins and Betty (Mahana) Adkins Dillon.

He is survived by his two sisters, Emily (Virgil) Chapman of Bellevue, and Evelyn Darlene Berry of Mansfield; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Alvy is preceded in death by five brothers.

Friends will be received on Saturday, February 15, 2013 from 3 p.m. until a funeral service officiated by Pastor Jon Shepherd begins at 4 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, Ohio. Burial will take place at Alex Williams Cemetery, Camden-on-Gauley, WV.
