Her funeral service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 15 at East Side Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls. Visitation begins at 5:00 PM Friday, February 14 at George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Maurine Mae Steineke, daughter of Louis and Gertrude (Schliemann) Steineke, was born July 13, 1923 in Hartford, SD. She grew up and received her education there.
Maurine was united in marriage with Gerald Gibson on September 12, 1942 in Dakota City, NE. The couple made their home and raised their family in Sioux Falls, SD.
Maurine was a long-time member of East Side Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling and traveling. Above all, Maurine cherished her family and the times she spent with them.
