Abagail was the daughter of Charity Squires. She was presumably raised at Roxbury. Abagail married to Hiram More on 24 September 1829. They made their home first at Roxbury and relocated to Pepacton, New York about 1836. They relocated to Jamestown, New York about 1838 and to Downsville, New York about 1841. They returned to Roxbury about 1844 and relocated permanently to Colchester about 1849 where Hiram was the owner and operator of a farm. Abagail died of thyphoid pneumonia just seven days after her husband died of the same. Abagail and Hiram were the parents of ten children; Charity More, Enos Squire More, Jonas More, Eleanor Squire More, Wilson Squire More, Sarah Wilson More, Ezra William Stratton More, Elizabeth Jane More, Mary Abigail More, and Anna More.
