"Will Be Missed"

Robert Crawford Lombardi, 79, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away Friday, January 23, 2004 at UVRMC in Provo, Utah.

He was born December 24, 1924 to John Michael and Ora Lillian Lombardi. He was raised in Thistle, Utah and graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1943. He was a veteran of World War II, serving mostly in Germany. After returning, Robert worked briefly for the Denver Rio Grande Railroad, and retired from Geneva Steel in 1986.

He married Marion Eyre Marshall in 1949. She preceded him in death in 1989, after which he married LaVern B. Neel in 1993.

Robert was an avid reader, loved to work in his garden, and fish and hunt, but most of all, he loved his family, who miss him terribly.

He is survived by his wife, LaVern; two sons and three daughters, Vernon (Doris) Marshall, Rosalie (DeLayne) Roy, Julie (Alan) Allred, David Lombardi, Laurel (Frank) Riding; one stepson and two stepdaughters, Don-nie Neel Davis, Terry (Clifford) Allaman, Raymond (Janet) Neel; one sister, Norma Bigler; two brothers, Ralph O'Neil, Fred J. Spencer; 26 grandchildren; and 31 great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marion; three brothers and two sisters.

Robert touched the lives of all who knew him. He will never be forgotten, only greatly missed.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork 7 th

Ward Chapel, 400 North 800 East. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Family Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, and Wed-nesday morning at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.walkerfamilymortuaries.com
