C. Thomas Moran, 508 North State Street, died Friday, November 18, at 8:15 am. He was 81 years of age. Mr Moran had been ill for three weeks and his death was caused by a kidney ailment.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 21, at 9:00 am at the Sacred Heart Church with Father J.C. McShane officiating.

C. Thomas Moran was born September 28, 1868, to John and Mary Moran at Eyota, Minnesota.

In 1893, he was married to Kathryn White at Winona, and the couple resided at that place until 1918 when they came to Waseca. Four children were born to this union.

During his lifetime Mr Moran was employed at the roundhouse of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway until he retired in 1931. He was a member of the Sacred Heart church.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn, Waseca, and four children: Mrs Ralph Speltz, Albert Lea; Kathryn Moran, Denver, Colorado; Clem J Moran, Minneapolis; and Frank T Moran, Madison, Wisconsin.

Pallbearers were Michael Broderick, Ray Kearns, Carlos Hyde, John Magner, Simon Connelly and Henry Mulcahy, Jr.

Interment was made in the St Mary's cemetery in Winona.
