MEYERSVILLE - Kenneth Wayne Gentry, 76, of Meyersville, passed away February 9, 2014. Kenneth was born April 24, 1937, in Victoria, Texas, to the late Walter D. and Selma Guenther Gentry. Kenneth was a graduate of Pattie Welder High School in 1955. He worked for Southern Pacific, DuPont and was in the trucking business for 30 years.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Freida O'Hara; brothers, Lee Roy, Walter Marcus and Eddie Gentry.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 6-8 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held, Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10 AM at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with Rev. Kenneth Euton officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
