George Senner was born at Fullinger, Wurtenburg, Germany, May 23, 1855, and departed from this life October 9, 1918, at the age of 63 years, 4 months and 16 days. His early childhood was spent at his birthplace. At the age of 16 years he came to America with his parents, who located in the Bucks Grove neighborhood. On May 19, 1883, he was united in marriage to Jennie Venneberg. To this union were born five children: Mrs. Laura Beach of Soldier, Ella May, who died in infancy, Mrs. Minnie Beach, who preceded him to the great beyond June 6, 1918, Miss Rose Mary and George H., who still remain at home. In the spring of 1911 he with his family moved to Whiting, where he made his home ... He leaves ... a loving wife, three children, seven grandchildren, one brother .... laid to rest in the Holton cemetery.

Soldier Valley. Mr. John and Arthur Venneberg were called to Whiting last Wednesday on account of the serious illness of their brother-in-law Mr. Geo. Senner who passed away that evening.
