OBITUARY-
BROWNSDALE -- A memorial service will be held for Marvin Wachlin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Austin with the Rev. Dale Schaffer officiating. Burial will be at Waltham Township Cemetery in rural Waltham.
Mr. Wachlin, 75, of Brownsdale, died Friday (Aug. 21, 1998) at his home.
He was born Feb. 2, 1923, in Sargeant. He married Annie Seehusen on June 30, 1946, in Pleasant Valley Township in Mower County. They farmed in Waltham Township for many years until moving to Brownsdale.
Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Paul of Austin and Donald of Sherwood, Ore. He was preceded in death by one sister.
Friends may call 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Vernon-Czaplewski Funeral in Brownsdale and one hour before the service at the church Tuesday.
