Alma Alexander Lawrence, 90, Route 5, died at 1:30pm Wednesday at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Trigg County, after a one-month illness.
Services will be at 2pm Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Carlton Puryer officiating and burial in Lawrence Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4pm today at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, she was born Feb. 22, 1895, the daughter of the late Gordon K. and Frances Smith Alexander. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was retired after 19 years as a teacher in the Trigg County schools.
Her husband, Ernest Allen Lawrence, Sr., died in 1969.
Survivors include two sons, William G. of Cadiz and Ernest Allen Lawrence, Jr., Bowling Green, and five grandchildren.
