Obituary for Margaret Ruth Bohanan
Margaret Ruth Jenkins Bohanan was reunited in Heaven with her husband, Everett early Thursday morning. She passed away peacefully at home with her daughter. Ruth spent her last days surrounded by family and lots of love. Her life was filled with lots of happiness but her pride and joy was her family. Ruth attended North Rockwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Everett Bohanan; son, Eddie Bohanan; grandson, Matthew Bohanan; daughter-in-law, Sherry Bohanan; parents, James and Stella Robinson Jenkins, and she was preceded in death by her sisters, Carrie Farmer, Lela Mathis, Maude Galyon, Hazel Guettner and Betty Abbott; brothers, Roy, Kenneth, Carl and Virgil Wesley Jenkins.. Survived by her children and spouses, Donnie Bohanan, Gary and Millie Bohanan, Brenda and Tommy Goldston; grandchildren: Stella and Adam Clark, Sara Bohanan, Cody Bohanan, Cassy Goldston, Jill Goldston, Ben Leshock, Zach Leshock, Jenifer and Mark Keiser, Gina and Bob Locklear; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Laura Belle Wright; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 9th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Click Funeral Home with Rev. Max Cronan officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery.
