A Gunners mate in the U.S. Navy, he served during World War II in the South Pacific. He earned the Purple Heart medal when his LCI gunboat was totally destroyed in the Battle of Iwo Jima.
He was preceded in death by his parents Amos and Mary Reagan, sisters Beulah Moore, Bess Floyd, and Glenna Ogle, brothers Estel Reagan and Claude Reagan, first wife Willie Mae Reagan, second wife Corda Reagan, and daughter-in-law Patsy Reagan.
Interment: Catons Chapel Cemetery.
