Clarence A. Jentsch, 54, of Rt. 1, Hilbert, died Tuesday evening at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services were Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul. The Rev. Ferdinand Timler officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Jentsch was born Sept. 17, 1916, in the Town of Rantoul, son of the late Herman and Anna (Zarnoth) Jentsch. He married Caroline Petermann Sept. 4, 1943, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul. He farmed in the Town of Rantoul all his life.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Jeffrey at home; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Joyce) Labetzke of Rt. 1, HIlbert; three brothers, Gehard and Walter of Rt. 1, Hilbert, and Robert of Manitowoc; and four sisters, Mrs. Freida Gruett of Rt. 1, Hilbert, Mrs. Lydia Bartz of Reedsville, Mrs. Clarence (Anna) Krueger of Rt. 1, Brillion and Mrs. Helen Schroeder of Chilton.

Wieting was in charge of arrangements.
