Hannah 'Jennie' Little, 80, of Polk City died of a heart ailment on January 1, 1990 at the Urbandale Health Care Center. The body was cremated and a memorial service will be held sometime in May in Knoxville.
Mrs. Little was born in Coalfield and lived in Knoxville before moving to Des Moines three years ago. She retired from the dietary department at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Knoxville and was a member of Waukee United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Harold of Fort Madison; Vernon of Evansdale and Styrl of Hudson; four daughters Thelma Michael of Bozeman, Montana; Twila Roberts of Whitehall, Montana; Vera Becker of Niwot, Colorado; and Illa Harvey of Des Moines; two brothers, Greg Comstock and Frank Comstock both of Eddyville; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy Hospital Foundation. Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton's Near Highland Memorial Garden Funeral Home.

Thomas Jefferson Little and Hannah Jane 'Jennie' Comstock were married November 21, 1925. Both Thomas Jefferson Little and his wife Hannah Jane Comstock were cremated. April 14, 1990 their ashes were spread at the Marysville Cemetery.
