Jeanne was 82 when she died, She was born in Detroit, Michigan, and moved to Plant City, Florida with her parents as a teenager. She graduated from Plant City High School, and Florida Southern College, where she earned a degree in music. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Charles L. Edwards; children Barbara Ahlers (Paul), Lesli Platt (Randy), and Todd Edwards; grandchildren Clara Ahlers Schlicher, Charles Onille Edwards, Jacob Paul Ahlers, Mackensi Platt Beers, and Randell L. Platt, II.; great-grandchildren John Paul Schlicher, Zachary Schlicher, and Eason Randell Beers. She was preceded in death by her son Charles Scott Edwards. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the First United Methodist Church in Plant City.
