Richard Davis, 60 of West Main Street [Westfield, Indiana] died at 950 am Sunday Jan 1, 1995 at his home. He retired in 1992 from Plan America, where he was a financial planner and was previously employed by Equitable Life Insurance and Cummins Engine Co. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and had live in Westport since 1976. Cremation is planned. Service date will be announced later. Memorial may be made through Bass and Gasper Funeral Home to Columbus Regional Hospital or Decatur County Hospice. Mr Davis was born July 18, 1934, in Alexandria, the son of Elora Elijah and marry Irene King Davis. He married Judith A Teasley July 3 1970, in Shelbyville. She survives. Also surviving are brothers Roger and Marion Davis both of Alexandria and Victor Davis of Elwood; and a sister, Betty Musick of Daleville. He was preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis and Litha Odom and Rosalee Cronwell [Cornwell].
