Cornilius Johann Van Leeuwen was born July 27, 1884 to Cornillius J Gerritje Johanna Vanderhorse Van Leeuwen in Brummen Gelderland Netherlands (Holland). His family were among the earliest converts to the LDS Church. Six of his family came to the United States in 1906, but he didn't go with them because he married Johanna Catherine Berghege July 12, 1906 and had a new baby. They immigrated to the United States in 1907, when he was 33, They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, December 12, 1951. They had 5 children, Cora, John, Casey, Henry, & Elsie. Johanna died September 30, 1936. He married Gertrude Dimick, Dec 8, 1943. They filled a mission to Holland and left in the spring of 1952. Casey died December 12, 1956, in Los Angelos, California
