She was born in Falmouth, a daughter of Walter R. and Medora Vigneux Train, and attended Falmouth schools.
Mrs. DiPierro enjoyed knitting, playing cards and dining out.
Her husband, Guy J. DiPierro, died in 1980.
Surviving are a daughter, Judith W. Pinette of Portland; three sons, Edward J. Walsh of Portland, Gary C. DiPierro of Portland and Alan W. DiPierro of South Portland; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hay and Peabody Funeral Home, 749 Congress St., Portland. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 307 Congress St., Portland, at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memorial Park.
