Lettie was a daughter of John Bennett and Ellen Ellison.

She married Elias Adams, Jr. 22 April 1903, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah after the death of his first wife.

Children - Clair John Adams, Clyde Bennett Adams, Elias Adams III & Elias Adams IV, and Ruth Ellen Adams, md. Doyle Henry Rampton.

She was left with three small children and lived a widow for the next 45 years. She supported her son, Clyde on an LDS Mission in 1925, her daughter, Ruth married in 1928, but her oldest son, Clair, remained unmarried, living with her until her death.
