Polly Anna Davis, 71, of Lynn passed away Friday, Jan. 31,2014 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born Jan. 23,1943 in Richmond, IN to the late Clyde and Fannie (Pope) Franklin. Polly was employed at Anchor Glass for 40 years before retiring in2002. She attended the United Pentecostal Church, Winchester, she was an avid bowler and a member of the Winchester Women's Bowling League, and she also served on the committee for Lynn Community Days.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Charlie Davis; three sons, Michael (wife Becky) Davis, Roger (wife Rita) Davis, and Brent (wife Tracey) Davis; three brother, John (wife Linda) Franklin, Jackie "Jack" (wife Rose) Franklin and Lewis "Bud" (wife Bessie) Franklin; two sisters, Marjorie "Podge" Frasur and Doris Moore; seven grandchildren, Trisha Qualls, Jamie (husband Bill) Laster, Andy Skiver, Brent "Alan" Davis Jr., April Davis, Michael Davis and Ryan Davis; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Fannie Franklin; three brothers, Melvin "Meb" Franklin, William "Bill" Franklin and Clayton "Tator" Frankin; and two sisters, Lucy "Boots" Morrow and Lorena "Renee" Mitchell.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oswalt Family Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Winchester, IN with Pastor Greg Pruett officiating. Burial will take place at Quaker Lynn Cemetery.
