Frances Stroud Cook, 96, of Minden, La., formerly of Groesbeck, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2005, in Minden, Louisiana. Burial will be at Faulkenberry Cemetery.
Frances was born in Groesbeck, Texas, to Tandy Key and Annie (House) Stroud. She was a 1925 graduate of Groesbeck High School. She married Jack Cook on November 21, 1940, in Limestone County.
She was preceded in death by her husband on January 1, 2002.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean Pierce Auld, of Minden, La; son, Jon Stroud Cook, of Anna, Texas; step-son, Jack Cook, III, of Dallas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
